What Does the FileMaker "Network Sharing is Off" Message Mean?

If you are using TheraQuick Solo or you are using TheraQuick Team and logging into TheraQuick over the network, then you may get the message from FileMaker informing you that the file cannot be shared because Network Sharing is off. This is entirely normal. This preference is set to "off" by default within FileMaker, and you normally don't need to change it. Only the host computer using peer-to-peer sharing of TheraQuick needs to turn it on. You can suppress the warning by changing the setting to "On" under the menu item: "File > Sharing > FileMaker Network."
